Nickelodeon Wildcard Game - 2022
It was a thrill to be invited back to once again work with the Nickelodeon team on their special presentation of the NFL Wildcard game. Last time, I build four lenses (including my favorites Krabby Patty Hat and Angry Coach) — which ended up being one of CBS’ most-watched games of the season and critical and commercial success— garnering them a Sports Emmy Award for the broadcast. This time, I was asked to build two team-specific Lenses for the historic matchup.
We based the designs of the lenses after both team mascots, a Cowboy and a 49er Prospector. The end results were both hilarious and awesome.
In addition to that, I had the truly extraordinary privilege to create high-quality face tracking Lenses for none other than the top sponge himself, Spongebob Squarepants, and his buddy Patrick Star. These were produced for a special segment where Spongebob and Patrick hilariously interview NFL legend Deon Sanders and were voiced by Tom Kenney and Bill Fagerbakke themselves!
